Consistently recognized as one of the best values in undergraduate college education in the United States, UH Mānoa offers a variety of financial assistance including grants, scholarships, loans, work-study, and student employment.
The University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa is dedicated to making it possible for degree-seeking admitted students to attend UHM regardless of their economic circumstances. Each year we provide scholarships, grants, student employment, and loan opportunities to our students. All students can receive some type of financial assistance if needed, and you won’t know if you qualify unless you apply. To get started, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online at fafsa.ed.gov.
The priority deadline is March 1st of every year. The priority date is to ensure that you could be awarded financial aid and that this aid will be disbursed by the start of classes. Your FAFSA must be completed and submitted by this date and all required documents must be received by the Financial Aid Office by this date.
